Teaser for a story that's been rolling around in my head for a couple of years now. The teaser is all very cryptic, for which I apologise - and maybe it's dumb to be posting it now since I'm interminably slow at getting stuff written out, AND I've got two other multi-chapter things which I'm trying to give priority to right now. But, I wrote it and here it is :). If there's interest I'll try and get the first couple of chapters up relatively quickly, so it's not so much of a big ol' muddly cliffhanger.
